Good Luck to All Exam Students

Tuesday, 3 October, 2017

From yesterday (02/10/17), we saw the first IGCSE examination for 2017 take place, with students sitting for the first paper of Art and Design. Over the next few weeks, spare a thought for those students in Form 4, L6 and U6 as they challenge themselves against the IGCSE and AS/A level papers.

We wish them Good Luck but also remind them that the more they practise the luckier they will get! We ask them to remember the words of Edmund Burke: 'Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only little.’ ”

Hopefully, above all else, it has taught you that you can learn anything and do anything when you put in the effort. It is important to work hard and give it everything you have got, but know that there are so many more things about you that will determine the life you have.

You have incredible power to open all sorts of doors and shape the life you want. This power is yours and nobody can take it from you.

Know that as your teachers we are behind you.

You do not face exams alone: GOD is right by your side fighting for you.

“ Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus”. Philippians 3:13-14.
