SCHOOLS BURSAR

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced mature persons to fill the above stated position that has arisen at Hillcrest Schools.

Duties

Duties include among others;

  • Preparing draft final accounts
  • Debtors – invoicing, credit control and attending to queries
  • Creditors - processing payments and checking reconciliations
  • Banking cash on a regular basis
  • Carrying out bank reconciliations
  • Issuing out and reconciling petty cash
  • Controlling the Strong Room
  • Fuel management
  • Any other related duties assigned

Person specification

The successful candidate must have the following;

  • A degree in Accountancy or HND
  • At least three years relevant working experience
  • Knowledge of Pastel Financial Accounting System is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
